The Banrock Station Shiraz Mataro exhibits plum and rhubarb aromas with hints of clove and dried herbs. A soft, round and generous red wine with fleshy fruit flavours of plum, mulberry and rhubarb accompanied by subtle gingerbread spices and black pepper. This wine has soft velvety tannins, warm spicy fruit flavours, savoury notes of brown mushrooms and nutmeg and finishes with a lingering menthol freshness.
